Structured professional beauty education
Professional Beauticians Academy provides structured online education for beauty and skin therapists, beauty business owners and industry professionals developing or returning to their careers — wherever in the world they are based.
Professional Beauticians Academy (PBA) was created to provide structured professional beauty education internationally — for practising beauty and skin therapists, for beauty and skin business owners, and for qualified professionals returning to the industry after time away. Everything is studied online, at your own pace.
Each course is organised into modules of written material and video. Modules are studied in order, and the final assessment opens only once every module has been completed.
Alongside treatment subjects, the curriculum covers the professional and business side of the industry — etiquette, client communication, staff and client retention, business development, marketing, revenue growth, and collaborations and partnerships.
Courses are studied entirely online, so professionals anywhere in the world follow the same material and the same assessment, and receive a PBA completion certificate on passing.
Our purpose
To make structured professional beauty education available internationally to therapists, beauty business owners and professionals returning to the industry, studied online at their own pace.
How we assess
Sequential modules and a randomised final assessment with a default 90% pass mark, set by the academy for each course.
On completion
A completion certificate issued by the academy, prepared and sent by the PBA team after a successful pass.
